PGMA IN HANOI--President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo poses for a souvenir photo with

of state of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum held Saturday night (Nov.
18) at the brand-new, $268-million National Convention Center in the outskirts of Hanoi.
In their two-day meeting in the Vietnamese capital, the 21 APEC leaders discussed various
issues affecting the Pacific Rim countries, notably economic cooperation, regional and
international security, energy and the lowering of trade barriers among member nations.
