FVR AT BOAO FORUM--Former President Fidel V. Ramos briefs the members of the Malacanang Press Crops and Chinese journalists on the importance of the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) 2007 at the Sofitel Hotel in Boao, Hainan Island, People's Republic of China Thursday night (April 19). Ramos, who is in China for the three-day (April 20-22) annual conference, was reelected as chairman of the Boao Forum for Asia for another three years. The conference, which is attended by more than a thousand official delegates composed of government leaders, top corporate executives, scholars and experts as well as media representatives, has significantly contributed to promoting exchanges and cooperation among Asian countries, including China.
