President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo shakes hands with Wu Bangguo, chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of the People's Republic of China, who paid a courtesy call on her Saturday (April 21) at Phoenix Room I of the International Convention Center in Boao, Qionghai City, Hainan Province, China. During their meeting, the two leaders expressed satisfaction over the broadening relations between the Philippines and China, particularly in trade and developmental assistance in agriculture and railway projects.
