A beaming President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo shakes hands with Pakistani Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz before the start of their bilateral meeting Saturday (April 21) at Swan Room I of the International Convention Center in Boao, Qionghai City, Hainan Province, People's Republic of China. During their meeting, the Pakistan leader told the President that Pakistan is fully supportive of the Philippines bid for an observer status in the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC). He also expressed his interest in becoming a dialogue partner of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
