BEIJING (via PLDT) – Chinese President Hu Jintao
has accepted President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo’s invitation for him to visit the
Philippines next year.
The President confirmed the Chinese leader’s
acceptance of her invitation in her brief remarks during her meeting with the Filipino
community in China held at the Kerry Center Hotel here Thursday tonight.

Communications Director, said no date has yet been set for Hu’s visit but this could
be timed with the observance of the 30th anniversary of RP-China relations.(full
