| President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo beams as she is introduced by former United States President Bill Clinton (extreme left) as the head of state of the Philippines and his former classmate at Georgetown University during the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) Opening Plenary at the Sheraton New York Hotel in New York City Wednesday (Sept. 26, New York time). The CGI brings together a community of global leaders to devise and implement innovative solutions to some of the world's most pressing problems.
