| President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo receives a Plaque of Recognition of Excellence from a group of Filipino community leaders on behalf of the Filipino-American Community of Northeast United States of America in recognition of her commitment to better the lives of Filipinos across the globe and the great economic strides that the Philippines has achieved in recent years.
