Our stand from day one has been to halt the degeneration of Philippine politics and attend to the duty of alleviating the suffering of the Filipino people. And the most important thing they need is food, food, food. And tilapia should be the ordinary Filipino's fish. The ordinary Filipino's viand.

We reiterate our commitment to peace, order, security. We must minimize disturbances to our students and commuting public as we continue to lay down clear cut rules of engagement on handling mass actions, and the LGUs identifying freedom parks for this purpose. These are elements of a strong republic that we need in order for our economic take-off not to be sabotaged by a degenerated political system. As we work towards a stronger state, I thank the lord for the resiliency of the economy, the heroism and loyalty to service shown by the civil servants, like our D.A. and BFAR officials who have put together this particular market link together with the private sector. The assiduousness shown by the local government executives, thank you dacal a salamat karing local executive, Governor Ngening Aldo, and the heroic flooding of dollar remittances by overseas Filipinos to the country. Usually, we have 8 million dollars, 8 billion dollars in remittances from our overseas Filipinos. I think this year we will get 10 billion dollars, thanks to all of them many of whom are relatives of the people here in this room.

To all of you, let's continue to bring food at affordable prices to the Filipino people. Let's continue to open up 2 million new hectares of land for agri-business including aquaculture.
