GMA cites strong trade, cultural ties
between Philippines, Mexico
MEXICO CITY (via PLDT)—President
Gloria Macapagal- Arroyo cited Wednesday (Thursday in Manila) the strong trade and
cultural ties between the Philippines and Mexico that have spanned more than four
centuries.
In her address before the Leaders’ Meeting of the Christian
Democrats International (CDI) at their plenary session at the Hotel Camino Real here, the
President said having been both colonized by Spain, Mexico and the Philippines have many
